Internationally-acclaimed Boys’ Choir of Lithuania, “Dagilėlis” Concert

Please join us on Saturday, November 5 for a special performance by the internationally-acclaimed Boys’ Choir of Lithuania, “Dagilėlis”

Dagilėlis has gained international acclaim for its scintillating performances under the direction Maestro Remigijus Adomaitis, receiving prestigious awards and honors worldwide. Their performances at major musical venues, on radio and television, and their numerous professional recordings have been highly valued and appreciated by audiences around the world. Prizes include Grand Prix at XXXIV International Festival of Songs and contest “Mundi Cantat” in Olomouc (2006, Czech Republic) and first prize in the following competitions: IX European Festival Giuseppe Zelioli (2010, Italy), Giessen (1997, Germany), Arezzo (1999, Italy), Fivizzano (2000, Italy), Prague (2002, Czech Republic), Rome (2004, Italy). They were also awarded a special prize in the Cantonigros Choir Competition (2003, Spain).

Dagilelis

The concert will be held on Saturday, November 5th, at 3PM at the beautiful Church of the Annunciation (259 North 5th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211), at the intersection of Metropolitan Avenue and Havemeyer Street, located near the L and G subways (Lorimer Street / Metropolitan Avenue station).

A reception will follow at the Annunciation Parish Hall at 70 Havemeyer Street.

Admission is $20 for adults, and $5 for children 16 years of age or younger.
