On March 25th 7:30 PM our beloved Annunciation – Apreiškimas Parish celebrated its Titular Feast to honor the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Lithuanian, Spanish, Italian members of both Annunciation and Mt Carmel parishes participated in the Mass that was celebrated by Monsignor Calise.
Annunciation Lithuanian Choir accompanied by organ and the Annunciation Spanish Choir accompanied by guitars sang during the Mass.
Monsignor Calise thanked all the members of multi-cultural parish communities for participating together and celebrating the Feast to honor the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Kavine Committee and the ladies of the Spanish speaking Community have arranged for a Coffee Hour following Mass.
During that hour Lithuania Republic’s Consul General in New York Valdemaras Sarapinas awarded parish Activities Committee and Choir member Pat Sidas with Lithuania’s Independence Restoration Day (Kovo 11-osios) Medal.
All parishioners congratulated Pat for her selfless work and participation in all parish activities and events, and long hours dedicated to Brooklyn – Queens Lithuanian community.
Pat Sidas sincerely thanked everyone.
