The Lithuanian Athletic Club and Annunciation parish traditional annual picnic will take place on Saturday, September 16 (1 PM) and Sunday, September 17 (11 AM)! As always, there will be delicious Lithuanian food, refreshments, a fun and welcoming atmosphere, lotteries, music, dancing, and much more. DJ RIMANTAS SAMIS will entertain us with his music. We have invited the NY TRYPTINIS AND NY MAIRONIS SCHOOL DANCE GROUPS to participate. The Lithuanian Athletic Club will sponsor the picnic on Saturday, Sep. 16 and Annunciation parish will sponsor the picnic on Sunday, Sep. 17. All are cordially invited.
We have just learned that LITHUANIA’S FOREIGN MINISTER LINAS LINKEVIČIUS will honor our parish with a visit Sunday, September 17, for the Holy Mass and picnic.
If the Lithuanian Basketball Team will be in the EUROBASKET FINALS, we expect we will be able to broadcast the finals during our picnic.
